Welcome Situated in a quiet area of Corralejo, Casa Spice and Vista Lobos are a short 5 minute drive from the famous sand dunes and numerous beaches, including Flag Beach - popular with water sport lovers and sunbathers. The town itself hosts a new Water Park and 2 Bowling Alleys. Also nearby are the beautiful beaches and lagoons of El Cotillo. There are several golf courses under construction on the island, The Fuerteventura Golf Club is in Caleta De Fuste (a 45 minute drive) and held the Spanish Open. Where is Fuerteventura Located just 100 kilometres off the coast of Africa, it is the second biggest of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife, and has the longest beaches in the archipelago. The island is a paradise for sun, beach and water sports enthusiasts. The island is widely believed to be the oldest of the Canary Islands. Its strange form was created out of a series of volcanic eruptions many thousands of years ago. The island is on the same latitude as Florida and Mexico and temperatures here rarely fall below 18°C. There are no fewer than 152 beaches along its coastline - 50 kilometres of fine, white sand. For directions please click here What to do Here in Corralejo you have the best of both worlds with the "Old Harbour" and the new extension of the town where the "Baku Water Park" and theme area is located. There are many other activities such as visits to the Islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. Also take a trip on a Catamaran or there is the possibility to go deep sea fishing in the unbelievably transparent waters. Scuba Diving is another popular activity in the crystal clear waters. Feel like getting to the heart of the unspoilt barren land - Take a trip in a buggy across the North Shores. If you fancy getting out and about why not visit the Zoo and even take a camel ride! There are plenty of picturesque villages to explore such as La Olivia where you can find La Cilla museum of Grains. Or you might even be in luck and catch one of the various Carnivals that the Islands are famous for.
